At Montessori Moments, I am dedicated to providing support to families during the crucial early years of child development, from birth to age six. Through a Montessori-based approach that values and nurtures the whole child, I invite you to delve into the world of parent education enriched with Montessori philosophy.
Montessori Moments began as a short snippet on the school monthly newsletter. It gives a glimpse into Montessori for parents of the children I teach. It shares tips, secrets and encouragement - all Montessori related. My call to guide parents into the world of Montessori continues to grow and the snippets in the newsletter are growing into classes, courses, consulting and more.
I am Kristin Anderson, the parent, educator, and life-long learner behind Montessori Moments. I graduated from Louisiana Tech University, married my husband and began teaching all within a few months. Soon after, we started a family and jumped into the world of parenting. We have 4 wonderful children and I have enjoyed each stage of parenting. I have continued my education after earning my BS in Elementary Education, by adding my Montessori certification, and my Masters in Early Childhood. I enjoy learning, reading, and quiet days. Together as a family we love camping, hiking, and road trips. The days fly by from the school to the soccer field to the theater with DIY projects tossed in between. Life is full of experiences.
